January Signal Boosts!

Find it Here!

2022 has just started and already there is a new series out there waiting to be discovered! This one is a space opera by the modern maestro of supernatural thrillers, Declan Finn. This time he is taking the action out of Earth's atmosphere and into the unknown.

This one is called White Ops, which also is the name of the new series. It is about exactly what the title says: a strike team that will do what they can to complete the job.

The description is as follows:

The Pharmakoi rampaged across dozens of star systems, taking on the toughest races in the Galaxy in their campaign of conquest. But they are only the beginning.

Sean Patrick Ryan sees that another race is behind the Pharmakoi expansion ; a race that wants to test our galaxy for weakness, and who needs to be eliminated from within. To fight the enemy in the shadows, Sean will put together a strike team to light up the darkness— with nukes if necessary.

They will get the job done at any cost.

They will be White Ops.

Once again, you can find White Ops here!

January sure is off to an oddly exciting start, is it not?

But we aren't done yet!

In other news, firebrand author and comic book writer Jon Del Arroz recently started a campaign for his newest project: a throwback to old shojo manga from the 1990s. It is a bit of a parody of his very successful Deus Vult comic about an Isekai involving a crusader. This time it is about A High School Girl in the Crusades.

And yes, that is the title. What else would you call such a thing? Desu Vult? Well, perhaps in the future. For now, here is the description:

Hello faithful readers! We're back for a quick campaign to give you the most fun in comics. As you are aware, JDA and his team have faithfully delivered on twelve crowdfund campaigns to provide you more than 30 issues of comics. We're the most trusted brand in independent comics for a reason!

We are offering two different comics:

1. A High School Girl In The Crusades is a 22-page manga-style isekai parody about a high school girl transported to the crusades (duh!). Art is 100% by The Quaff (Shotgun Samurai, Nuclear Warhead Samurai).

2. Deus Vult is a 66 page epic fantasy graphic novel about a crusader transported to a magical and evil realm. Art is by Jesse White and Matt Crotts.

Both protagonists face a hero's journey, fulfilling an epic quest and trying to get home.

Yes, this a campaign for both books, or one. Should you have missed the original campaign for Deus Vult, now is the time to back it, especially as there is a new story included.

Once again, you can find the campaign here!

That is all I have for you now. Join me next time when we continue our cruise through the annals of Fandom history. Have a good weekend!
